Moelltaler Gletscher   Wonderful ski area up on a glacier. The snow is so good here, and the variety of runs is quite satisfactory in my honest opinion. I've been skiing this glacier 4 times over the last decade, and I love it. Says Dave. Moelltaler Gletscher is a petite ski mountain in possession of a medium drop compared to other Austria ski mountains. There are 10 different ski lifts here, and they make for a comforting ride up the mountain. Moelltaler Gletscher has an okay assortment of slopes and a reasonable selection of good     ski lifts. On this mountain you'll come upon 50 different slopes; it's a glorious mixture. The 3,353 feet of height difference is delightful. Moelltaler Gletscher has a tremendous selection of ski trails to match all abilities; it's just not possible to get bored here. This ski mountain has a much lower than average ratio of challenging trails and a much higher than average proportion of blue and green slopes. Having such a big terrain, 12,500 acres in all you will never be short of skiing territory. The lovely beauty of the Carinthia, Austria mountaintops and the magnificent sensation of cruising down the runs make the trip here worthwhile. Some people prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, there are lots of tremendous places for that in close proximity. Snowboarding   and skiing in this part of Carinthia, Austria is so much fun during the winter. The Carinthia, Austria hills during ski season are a perfect spot for snowboarding or skiing.
