Mayrhofen   Very good vertical drop. If you are lucky you can get perfect conditions on the entire mountain and you can ski top to bottom with perfect snow under your skis. But even when it's not you still get great conditions somewhere on the mountain. Says Derek. Having such a big skiable terrain, 1,500 acres in all you won't run out of skiing area. Mayrhofen's drop of 6,200 feet is more than enough for a nice top to bottom run. This is a smaller size than average ski area having a rather towering elevation difference     when compared to other Austria ski mountains. Mayrhofen has a much lower than average percentage of advanced and expert runs and a much higher than average ratio of easy ski trails. The snowboarding and the skiing in Tyrol, Austria is so much fun all snow season long. There are 146 trails to pick from; there are plenty trails for every skill. Mayrhofen has loads of different ski trails and a great choice of great ski lifts. A little bit of exercise and an opportunity to spend some time in the outdoors have ski folks coming here. This ski resort has 47 ski lifts, and they will get you up the mountain well. The beautiful beauty of the Tyrol, Austria summits and the extremely great ski runs make the journey here worthwhile.
