Aletschgebiet   Aletschgebiet is a smaller than average ski area boasting a pretty petite vertical drop when compared to other Switzerland ski hills. This ski area has 31 ski lifts, and they are in glorious condition. The yearly snowfall of 7 feet keeps the runs well covered through the winter. Aletschgebiet has an acceptable mixture of trails and a splendid selection of ski lifts. The 1,519 feet of height difference is rather reasonable; Aletschgebiet makes good use of it. With such a large skiing area, 7,413 acres in all being short     of skiable terrain won’t happen. The splendid mountain vista of Valais, Switzerland and the very magnificent ski trails make the spree here worthwhile.
