Geilo   This place was the best. Learned to ski here in the eighties.  Many fond memories of the AFNORTH Ski Club trips to Geilo! Says Anne High. All 18 lifts at this ski resort are in good shape. This ski mountain has a much higher than average percentage of demanding ski slopes and a much lower than average percentage of intermediate or beginner ski slopes. This is a great ski resort with a roughly average altitude difference compared to other Northern Europe ski mountains. The 1,239 feet of height difference is     not too shaggy; Geilo makes excellent use of it. Having a sum of 35 slopes to ski on; there are sufficient slopes for every capability. With 4,980 acres of ski terrain you will never be short of skiing territory. In wintertime the Norway peaks are a great place for snowboarding or skiing. This ski hill has an ok variety of trails and loads of great good ski lifts. This ski mountain has a pleasant selection of slopes to fit all abilities; it's not possible to get bored here. The skiing and the snowboarding in Norway is scores of fun every day of the season. The ski run map of Geilo on this web page unsurprisingly says a thousand words. It's always cool to ski here where a load of the slopes push the limits of even the best skiers. These trails are foot smashing; but you have   to do what you have to do, or? Some folks prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, in this general vicinity, you'll encounter a lot of ski mountains.
