Ounasvaara   This ski area has a fairly humble collection of trails and not too many lifts. The 459 foot drop from top to bottom is of course not that much to boast about, but Ounasvaara has so many other great properties. All of the 4 good ski lifts are satisfactorily looked after and controlled by pleasant people. Ounasvaara has a much lower than average share of expert and advanced trails and a much higher than average fraction of intermediate or beginner trails. This ski hill has 5 trails, and they are wonderful. This ski mountain     has 266 acres of skiable territory, and it's all in great condition. This is a small-size ski area boasting an average elevation difference if compared to other Northern Europe ski resorts. Snowboarding and skiing in this region is a great thing to do through the snow season. The wintertime months in Finland is the most grandiose time of the year for snowboarding or skiing.
