Ylläs   Ylläs is the biggest ski mountain in Finland, and the only one that is of any size. Finland has a lot of good snow, but not so many mountains for alpine skiing but this one is good. All of the 20 good ski lifts are satisfactorily kept up and run by welcoming people. This ski area has a much lower than average proportion of challenging slopes     and a much higher than average fraction of blue and green runs. This ski mountain has a height difference of 1,518 feet; it's enough   to get some decent time on the ski runs between lifts.
