Mt. Lyford   The 15 ski runs at this ski hill are good to ski on. This is a better size than average ski area having a medium vertical drop if compared to other Southern Hemisphere ski areas. This ski mountain has a much lower than average percentage of expert and advanced runs and a much higher than average share of blue and green ski trails. Mt. Lyford has a fairly small range of ski trails and an okay amount of different ski lifts. Having such a sizeable skiing land, 1,651 acres in all you will never be without skiing area. This     ski area has snowfall close to the local average each winter season. The peaks of New Zealand, South Island blanketed in wonderful snow are a magnificent site for skiing or snowboarding. The white snow here turns genuinely deep, 16 feet per winter, and that is ample for genuinely perfect depth. This ski area has a drop from top to bottom of 1,486 feet; Mt. Lyford makes good use of it all. There are 6 lifts here, and they are in good shape. The grand mountain panorama of New Zealand, South Island and the especially great slopes are certain to keep you coming back. Getting your skiing muscles started and just being on the slopes for a while outdoes anything.
