Jade Dragon Yulong Snow Mountain   This is the worlds highest altitude ski area. It is still under construction but it is currently operating with two surface lifts. The ski area is located on a glacier so high up that there are oxygen masks available for rent if you should need one. The skiable territory being 9 acres, it makes for a peaceful skiing experience. This is a smaller size than average ski area having a relatively small height difference when compared to other East Asia ski areas. This ski hill has a comparatively modest diversity     of trails and not too many ski lifts. This ski hill has a much lower than average proportion of black and red slopes and a much higher than average ratio of beginner and intermediate trails. A good workout and just hanging out with your skiing buddies attract skiers from far and wide. With a 656 foot height difference it's not the highest hill there is, but Jade Dragon Yulong Snow Mountain has so many other splendid attributes. Some folks prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, there are a lot of good ski hills for that in the neighborhood. When this section of China is covered in ice cold snow; it is the most grand time of the year for skiing and snowboarding. The snowboarding and the skiing in China is so much fun all through the winter.
