Gudauri
| | I was in the area and decided to take a day off and go skiing at Gudauri. Very pleasant ski area. Not a major resort, but it has a good elevation drop and had good snow conditions on the day I went there. Says Sam.
All the 20 slopes here are totally fun. The elevation difference of 3,539 feet is a perfect drop. Gudauri has a humble selection of ski runs and sufficient great ski lifts to serve them all. ski runs. With 1,061 acres of ski terrain you won't be short of skiable territory. There are 7 good ski lifts here, and they are admirably maintained and operated by kind folks. The snowboarding and the skiing in Georgia is loads of fun all winter season long.
| Gudauri is a larger than average ski area boasting a high drop from top to bottom when you compare it to other ski resorts in the region. The Georgia mountains during ski season are a great site for skiing and snowboarding. Winter in the mountains of Georgia and the incredibly magnificent trails are sure to keep you returning. Delightful exercise and just being on the trails for a while will make you feel good. | |
