Furano   The two sides of Furano are like mirror images of each other. Both sides are good of course. They are linked together in the middle by a lift and a run. I like the Kitanomine base area better, but the mountain is equally good on both sides. Says Steve. All 11 good ski lifts at this ski resort are in nice condition. The 23 runs at this ski hill are charming. With the skiable area being 1,101 acres lacking skiing land won’t happen. This ski resort has a much lower than average percentage of black and red runs     and a much higher than average part of blue and green slopes. The vertical drop of 3,194 feet is beyond doubt unbelievable. Furano is a normal size ski area in possession of an average drop from top to bottom when compared to other East Asia ski hills. The wonderful mountain view of Japan and excellent trails have snow folks coming from near and far. Whether you're skiing or snowboarding, there are loads of good ski hills for that in the vicinity. Getting a bit of good exercise and getting out of the house for a while have skiers coming here.
