Hakuba   Pretty good ski mountain. Good lift system and good grooming. Very nice mid size resort for a weekend ski trip. Nice cozy base area too. Says Tom. Hakuba is a conventional size ski hill in possession of a roughly average drop from top to bottom compared to other East Asia ski mountains. Having 1,003 acres of skiable territory you won't be short of skiable area. The 17 good ski lifts here are competently looked after and controlled by pleasant folks. This ski hill's elevation difference of 2,788 feet is tremendous.     This is a wonderful ski mountain for everybody with lots of green and blue slopes. You may be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, in this general vicinity, you'll discover loads of ski hills. Hakuba has a much lower than average share of advanced and expert ski slopes and a much higher than average ratio of blue and green trails. This ski area has a decent collection of trails and a splendid pick of ski lifts. Skiing and snowboarding here in Japan is so much fun during the winter. Getting a pleasant workout and spending some quality time in the fresh air will make you happy you came.
